Some of you know that for most of my adult life I have been a technical writer. These days, there is a renewed interest in electric cars. These two facts tie together in that, 44 years ago, my father wrote one of the first widely-read articles on electric cars, in the October 1966 issue of Scientific American. In the author bio, he gave a shout-out to my brother and I for inspiring him. So, here's a shout-out to him for being one of the inspirations for me to become a technical writer.
