I moved my web/mail/FTP services from a system that I owned at a local colo facility to a box at a remote facility. I am about to decommission the old box.
# uptime 2:26PM up 659 days, 19:26, 1 user, load averages: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00The only reason that the uptime is that short is that the colo facility made me move the box from one location to another; the uptime when I moved it was another couple of hundred of days, I think.
The next time someone says that internet servers run on Windows or Linux, be sure to remind them about FreeBSD.
